Rutter’s unveiled its new summer limited time offer menu, which includes three carnival-themed selections: Cheeseburger sub with fried pickles, chili cheese corn dog and Oreo funnel cake fries.

“Our LTO menu is constantly evolving and has proven to resonate with our growing customer base,” said Philip Santini, Rutter’s sr. director of advertising and foodservice. “Rutter’s is committed to pushing the boundaries of our extensive menu and showcasing our 'Made for You' options.”

The cheeseburger sub is an angus burger with American cheese, shredded lettuce and tomato, then topped with fried pickles, ranch dressing and thousand island dressing, priced at $8.99.

For $7.99, the chili cheese corn dog is a classic corn dog stuffed with chili, cheese and onions.

For dessert, the Oreo funnel cake fries are classic funnel cake fries, topped with white chocolate sauce and crushed Oreos for $8.99.

Earlier this year, Rutter’s released a new private-label summer seasonal beer, created in collaboration with Evil Genius. The Don’t Have a Cow beer is a Citra IPA with “low bitterness and is dry hopped entirely with Citra,” Rutter’s said in a press release.

Other retailers have been releasing seasonal and summertime menu items as of late: Yesway introduced Allsup’s pepperoni pizza burrito, Weigel’s added smash burgers, QuickCheck brought back its spicy chicken and debuted a hot honey menu, pizza chains got innovative and a number of QSRs introduced new menu items.
