Savannah, Georgia-based Parker’s Kitchen raised a record $617,000 at its 14th Annual Fueling the Community Charity Golf Tournament at The Landings in Savannah on October 19th. The proceeds will support local schools in communities the company serves across Georgia and South Carolina, the company said in a press release sent to NACS. In addition to golf, the Fueling the Community Charity Golf Tournament featured live music, raffle drawings and an awards ceremony.

“I can’t think of a better way to celebrate our company’s 50th anniversary than to raise a record total at this year’s Fueling the Community Golf Tournament to support schools and to make a transformative impact in the communities we serve,” said Parker’s Kitchen Founder and Executive Chairman Greg Parker. “At Parker’s Kitchen, we know that education uplifts communities and prepares students for future success, which is why education serves as the foundation of our charitable giving.”

Since Parker’s Kitchen’s Fueling the Community charitable initiative was founded in 2011, the company said it has donated a portion of gas sold at all Parker’s and Parker’s Kitchen locations on the first Wednesday of each month to area schools. Including the proceeds from the 2026 golf tournament, Parker’s Kitchen has raised more than $4 million to support education through the Fueling the Community program, it said.

In Idaho, Stinker Stores kicked off its annual Stomp Out Hunger fundraiser, the company said on LinkedIn. From October 20-31, customers can donate at checkout with funds raised going to local foodbank partners including The Idaho Foodbank. Stinker has been working with The Idaho Foodbank for over 15 years. “Together you've helped us raise over $1,000,000 for neighbors in need,” the company’s post said.

QuikTrip announced a month-long in-store fundraising campaign in October to support the future sailors of the USS Oklahoma (SSN 802). Customers at all Oklahoma QuikTrip locations will be able to round up their purchases to the nearest dollar or make an additional donation of their choice at the checkout counter. QuikTrip will match the funds raised. USS Oklahoma commemorative challenge coins will also be on sale for $25, with all proceeds directed toward the fundraising effort.

Funds raised through the campaign will support USS Oklahoma sailors and their families through the vessel’s Morale, Welfare and Recreation Fund, which helps provide emergency travel assistance, educational opportunities and quality-of-life programs throughout a sailor’s service.

“Few things carry the Oklahoma name farther around the world than a U.S. Navy submarine. We are proud to help support the sailors who will serve aboard the USS Oklahoma and grateful to our customers for joining us in this effort,” said QuikTrip Chairman and CEO Chet Cadieux. “Together, we’re helping ensure these sailors know an entire state stands behind them.”

Crosby's Stores donated over $23,000 dollars to the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation last week in New York, according to a press release from the company. The money was raised this summer for Roswell during Crosby's yearly Skin Cancer Awareness Campaign and will be used in critical research and treatment initiatives for skin cancer. A check presentation ceremony was held at the Scott Bieler Clinical Sciences Center.
