In Georgia, Pilot and Tesla have opened their first Tesla Megacharger site at a Pilot travel center in Ellabell. “This opening marks the launch of a new charging network at select Pilot locations, designed to support heavy-duty electric trucks along major U.S. freight corridors,” the retailer said.
The six heavy-duty charging stalls are now open at Pilot #1390 located at 130 Interstate Exchange Way. Twelve additional heavy-duty charging locations are actively under construction, with three near completion and expected to come online soon:
- Flying J #1071, 979 E. Paige Ave., Tulare, California
- Flying J #553, 2571 N Front St Fort Stockton, Texas
- Pilot #341, 3812 E. Craig Road, North Las Vegas, Nevada
Each location will feature four to eight high-power charging stalls powered by Tesla’s V4 cabinet technology. According to Tesla, each stall can deliver up to 1.2 megawatts of power, allowing a Tesla Semi to recover 60% of its charge in 30 minutes.
Pilot and Tesla announced their collaboration in January 2026, with plans to develop a network of Tesla Megachargers at select Pilot locations along major freight corridors across California, Georgia, Indiana, Nevada and Texas.
Over at Love’s Travel Stops, the retailer recently opened a new location in Casper, Wyoming, its sixth in the state. It has 52 truck parking spaces.
In honor of the grand opening, Love’s will split a $5,000 donation between the Food Bank of Wyoming and Dress for Success Casper, along with an additional $5,000 to Children’s Hospital Colorado.
Love’s also recently completed the remodel of its location in Santa Nella, California. “Customers can now experience an updated environment designed to improve traffic flow and elevate the overall shopping experience. In honor of the remodel, Love’s donated $5,000 to Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera.”
Through October 31, Love’s is offering 15% off nightly stays at more than 100 RV locations nationwide with promo code FALL15. Travelers can reserve their spot and access full-hookup amenities by booking through the Love’s app.
