Pennsylvania-based Rutter’s is teaming up with The Hershey Company for a month-long takeover of its 1747 Bar & Lounge locations in November, “bringing together the excitement of college football and the irresistible taste of chocolate,” the retailer said in a press release sent to NACS.
Throughout the month, the bars will be transformed for a Hershey-inspired game-day experience featuring themed décor, exclusive drink specials and college football watch parties. Rutter’s also said that the month-long promotion will also give 1747 Bar & Lounge customers the opportunity to enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win $10,000.
In addition to the 1747 Bar & Lounge takeover, Rutter’s said it is bringing two Hershey brands to its menu in new ways. “Dot’s Pretzels brings its signature seasoning and satisfying crunch to a lineup of savory creations, including the Pretzel Crunch Chicken Melt, Pretzel Crunch Burger Melt and Pretzel Crunch Mac & Cheese offerings, while Reese’s peanut butter sauce adds its unmistakable taste to the Peanut Butter Burger and Peanut Butter Pickle Dog.”
The special menu will feature:
· Pretzel Crunch Chicken Melt (made with Dot’s Pretzels): $6.99
· Pretzel Crunch Burger Melt (made with Dot’s Pretzels): $6.99
· Pretzel Crunch Mac & Cheese (made with Dot’s Pretzels): $5.99
· Pretzel Crunch Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese (made with Dot’s Pretzels): $7.99
· Peanut Butter Burger (made with Reese’s peanut butter): $6.59
· Peanut Butter Pickle Dog (made with Reese’s peanut butter): $3.49
“Rutter’s is always looking for new ways to bring exciting experiences to our guests, and partnering with Hershey during college football season gives us a fun opportunity to do just that,” said Connor Fenix, events coordinator. “From watching the games at 1747 Bar & Lounge to enjoying limited-time menu creations inspired by Hershey brands, we’re excited to give our guests another reason to stop by this November.”
