Beverage QSRs Launch Nostalgic Summer Drinks
Starbucks will roll out orange cream drinks, while Dutch Bros added a cookie dough-flavored beverage.

With summer in full swing, QSRs are launching summer-inspired additions to their menus.
Dutch Bros this week launched its new Planet Dutch LTO lineup:
- “The Cosmic Cookie Dough is an out-of-this-world treat featuring chocolate chip cookie dough and a swirl of chocolate complete with Soft Top and cookie dough pieces! Try this treat as a Blended Freeze, iced latte or a cold brew with cream.”
- “The Stardust is an intergalactic burst of flavor with strawberry, watermelon and stardust crunch candy. Enjoy this drink as an iced or blended Rebel energy drink, iced lemonade or our new Myst Energy Refresher.”
- “The Supernova sends your taste buds on a galactic journey with peach, passion fruit, orange and strawberry fruit! Grab this drink as our new Myst Energy Refresher, Fizz or an iced or blended Rebel energy drink.”
Over at 7 Brew Coffee, this month the chain launched its new "Freeze the Heat" campaign, featuring all-new Frozen Chillers, limited-time offers, exclusive collectibles and surprise promotions.
The lineup features:
- Firecracker 7 Energy Frozen Chiller: “A bold, refreshing burst of orange, pomegranate and raspberry with an energizing kick.”
- Maui Mocha Frozen Chiller: “Smooth mocha meets tropical banana and coconut flavors for the ultimate island escape.”
- Island Dream Lemonade Frozen Chiller: “Tropical pineapple, coconut and vanilla flavors blended into a refreshing frozen lemonade.”
- Orange Sherbet Shake: “A nostalgic mix of orange, strawberry and vanilla flavors swirled into a creamy summer treat.”
- Funnel Cake Coffee Frozen Chiller: “A creamy blend of coffee, white chocolate, vanilla and salted caramel inspired by your favorite fair treat.”
On June, 7 Brew Coffee celebrated the opening of its 777th stand, QSR Magazine reported.
Starbucks recently brought back its S’mores Frappuccino alongside the new S’mores Cold Brew with Marshmallow Cold Foam. There is also a new Iced S’mores Chai, which customers can find on Starbucks’ new Chai menu. The QSR said the flavor profile features rich toasted marshmallow aroma up front, followed by notes of graham cracker and rich chocolate.
At the end of July, Starbucks will expand its summer lineup with new Orange Cream beverages. “Beginning July 28, customers will find the nostalgic orange-cream flavor, a blend of orange and vanilla, showing up across drinks from cold brew and espresso to matcha and chai.”
