Global Partners has been named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Parents and Families for 2026 by Newsweek for the first time, the retailer said.

The company said that the award recognizes companies that support employees balancing careers with family responsibilities.

“Being recognized for how we support parents and families means just as much to us as being named a Greatest Workplace overall,” said Heather Hampton, vice president of talent at Global Partners. “Our teammates are balancing careers with raising families, caring for loved ones and everything in between, and we are committed to building a workplace that supports them through all of it.”

Newsweek said it partners with independent research organizations to produce its Greatest Workplaces rankings each year, drawing on employee interviews and workplace data collected through third-party sources rather than employer-submitted surveys.

“Global Partners’ back-to-back recognitions in June and July 2026, first for America’s Greatest Workplaces and now for America’s Greatest Workplaces for Parents and Families, reflect the company’s broader commitment to building a workplace culture where employees can thrive both professionally and personally,” the retailer said.

In other Global Partners News this year, in January, Alltown Fresh, part of the Global Partners brand, launched its Alltown Fresh Collection, the brand’s first merchandise and apparel line. The Alltown Fresh Collection features 23 custom-designed and printed pieces, including hoodies and sweatshirts, tees, crewnecks, caps and a lineup of youth tees and baby onesies.
