EG America announced that it is lining up deals for customers to save on their favorite items all summer long, beginning today and lasting until September.

First, EG America is inviting its guests to “sweeten up” their morning with a $4 donut combo. With this deal, customers can purchase two donuts and a large hot or iced coffee for $4. The deal is running until September 4 at all EG America banner locations.

“Few food items go better with coffee than a donut, and with this deal, we’re offering our guests both,” said Michael Limoges, EG America’s senior vice president of store operations.

Additionally, the retailer launched a larger coffee cup size. The XL cup is now available in all EG America locations.

“We’re known for our coffee and our XL cup size lets our guests enjoy even more of what they love,” said Limoges. “Our largest size coffee brings convenience and value to our guests, and it’s a great example of our enhanced product offerings.”

EG America also launched a $5 meal deal, available until September 3. The deal includes any two roller grill or pizza items, a drink and a side of chips. Drink options include a Pepsi Mountain Dew, Aquafina or Brisk one liter, and customers can choose between Lay’s, Miss Vickie’s, Ruffles or Sun Chips.

“Our new $5 summer meal deals offer our guests a quick meal on the go, at a great price,” said Brian Ferguson, EG America’s chief marketing officer. “Start with your favorite roller grill or with pizza and add a 1-liter drink and a bag of chips—that’s a great value for just $5.”

The move comes as larger QSRs, like McDonald’s and Burger King, announced $5 meal deals designed to draw in customers. McDonald’s had stated that restrained consumer spending was one reason for a lack of growth in Q1, announcing that it was increasing its promotions and deals across most of its U.S. locations to entice customers that are focused on getting more bang for their buck.
