H&S Energy Launches Car Wash Subscription Program

The program offers users a choice between several wash tiers as well as single-wash purchases.

H&S Energy launched a new car wash subscription program, powered by Liquid Barcodes, which is rolling out to over 170 Extra Mile and Power Market locations.

“We are excited to introduce a car wash subscription program to our customers,” said Amir Hasan, H&S Energy president of operations and retail. “We are offering the ultimate level of convenience to our customers and continue to live up to our mission to be a one-stop shop for refueling, car wash services and a wide variety of snacks, beverages, and specialty items.”

The monthly subscription will “deliver a frictionless and contactless solution … as well as building recurring revenue for the business,” H&S Energy stated in a press release.

Through the new subscription program on the newly released Power Market app, customers will be able to choose between several wash tiers as well as purchase single car washes. The app is available to download on Apple and Android devices.

Fidaa Mohrez, H&S senior director of operational systems, added, “Car care is extremely important to California drivers and by providing an easy and affordable car wash subscription program, we can be sure our customers will visit our stores frequently to keep their vehicles looking pristine.”

“Subscription programs for car wash and beverages encourage sustainable customer loyalty, ensure a recurring revenue business model, and are must-haves for digital-forward convenience retailers,” added Saurabh Swarup, GM North America at Liquid Barcodes.

In March, H&S Energy acquired Andretti Petroleum Group, a transaction consisting of nearly 170 convenience retail and fuels distribution assets in California, Oregon and Washington.
